BDF Digital has developed a control and drive technology for the printing and paper industry, thanks to solutions specially designed to achieve maximum performance in this specific application, both for the central drum machine, with real axis, and for the stack machine, with virtual axis. 

Printing accuracy is guaranteed thanks to D2D (Drive To Drive) communication between the master and all the slaves (up to a total of 8 motor units), which are digitally coupled. As for timing, the data exchange is guaranteed at a speed of 200 us, i.e. 0.2 ms (@ 5 Khz), as communication is within the PWM cycle.

Space and speed feedback is closed directly on the drive with excellent performance in axis control thanks to the precision of the adjustment, thus ensuring high performance of the controlled process.
