In order to ensure the correct operation of the machines and systems, a plant must comply with EMC regulations, i.e. the switchboard must be free of radio frequency interference. Some of these plants feature equipment that is very sensitive to external interference; in these cases, the EMC mains filter is used at the inverter input, to reduce the power of the interference emissions within the limits set out by the EN61800-3 Standard.

There are versions with low current leakage to earth and versions for all mains configurations.
