For over 20 years, BDF Digital has been supplying power electronics to the world’s largest cableway manufacturers (chairlifts, cable cars, etc.).

The powers that can be obtained from our servo drives range from a few kW up to 1-2 MW for both 400Vac and 690Vac motors.

Thanks to our know-how and a state-of-the-art R&D department, the braking of the electric motors, used in these types of installations, generates energy which, instead of being wasted and dispersed, is “put back into the grid” by means of regenerative AC/DC units, commonly known as Active Front End (AFE).
